First of all, we did a heuristic analysis which is a way to test whether a website is user friendly. In other words, it’s a technique for finding usability problems.

  • Upon researching in depth about persuasive strategies and concluded that liking and authority are the 2 most suitable persuasive strategies.

 

  • Some of the best shopify trends include an emphasis on search bar, product personalization, minor animations and more.

We asked questions focusing on E-commerce websites they use, trusting a product, personalization, customer service, add-ons, services a website provides and what reminds them of Lebanon.

Insights

The lack of brand credibility could lead to a decrease in potential sales

The weakness in brand visual guidelines will lead lebanese expats to have an unimpressive experience

Ideation

After conducting some research, we found a list of Ideation techniques that will help us in our ideation session such as Brainstorming, Sketching, Provocation and more. Also, the participants of this session include the creative and research department, executives, the Presentail tech team and the marketing department.

We had 2 brainstorming sessions held in 2 consecutive days. We discussed the main insights taken from the users.

The discussion includes topics such as:

delivery services, customer satisfaction, having an immersive experience, branding, pricing, Lebanese vibes, and customizable products.

Final Product

We have designed a new website focused on the research and ideation outcome. All the banners will be related to Lebanon. If you click on “About Lebanon” section, it will directs you to the blog. 

After finishing the research, Occasion plays an important role for our business so we did occasion gallery user can choose which occasion he wants and can see the lifestyle image of the product. If you click on the image it will direct you to the product, and see more will direct you to the occasion page.

Since we want to do customised experience for the user, we have created a ready made bundels for the user depends on the occasions, and other factors such as “Christmas bundles”, “Birthday Bundles”…
